SATURDAY
REMEMBER TO REGISTER **Westborough Connects Kickoff to Kindness Week - 1-4pm, Westborough High School. Help us get ready to kick off Kindness Week with an afternoon of fun and inspiration, featuring a keynote speaker presentation by New York Times best-selling author and yoga & mindfulness instructor, Susan Verde. Masks required and virtual viewing option also available on Westborough TV. Following the keynote, attendees can take part in our drop-in community-building activities for all ages, hosted by several Partners in Kindness. Registration required HERE.
Start the day off at our Connect Over Coffee event to kick off Kindness Week with a cup of coffee at Swanski's Bakeshop, 9-11am. Westborough Connects will have free coffee out front (while supplies last) and Swanski's is offering a buy a muffin, get 1 for 50% off to give to a kind friend or neighbor.
Westborough Connects is also hosting its first Conectemos en Español (Connect in Spanish) event! 9:30-11:30am at Bay State Commons. Drop by for a free cup of coffee and an opportunity to connect. For more information, click HERE (Español) or HERE (English).
Westborough Boy Scouts are hosting their annual Scouting for Food event. Please leave food donations in a bag in front of your house by 9am. More details can be found HERE.
SUNDAY
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is hosting a Kindness Card making event in their fellowship hall from 10-11am. Open to all.
The Westborough Community Land Trust invites children to “Be Kind to Nature” with a children’s Nature Discovery program from 12-12:45pm. Meet at the Fales School parking lot. Stay for a 1pm trail hike of the new Despres property. For more information, click HERE.
Westborough Boosters and Westborough TV will drop their new video “Good Athletes are Good Sports!” featuring WHS athletes. Follow their social media pages (@boosterswestborough & @westboroughtv) so you won’t miss it!
Monday
Pick up a Grow with Kindness Take and Make Kit (while supplies last), provided by the WPL Kids’ Department.
**Attend the WPL Kids' Department Kindness Week Colorfest Art Project from 10-10:30am. Registration required HERE.
**Kindful Studios in partnership with Highlands Gracious Retirement Living and Tatnuck Bookseller is hosting a Kindness Card making event at Tatnuck, for adults. It will be from 10am-12 noon. Registration required HERE.
Helping Hand for Relief and Development will host a clothing & toy drive at 80 Turnpike Rd. from 11am-5pm. Check details HERE.
TUESDAY
**Teens can register HERE for It Takes All Kinds, an afternoon of cooperative games and challenges. It will take place from 3:30-4:30pm in the WPL Teen Zone.
**Release Well-Being Center is hosting a free, in-person “Kindness to Self” Meditation from 4-4:30pm. Call 508-986-2330 or click HERE to register.

**SPARK Kindness, our network partner, invites everyone to join them virtually at 7pm for How to Have Difficult Conversations (With Kindness) with Dr. Roxy Manning. Register HERE.
WEDNESDAY
Help us Chalk the Walks of Westborough! The Westborough Women’s Club is hosting several sites around town (register and drop-in anytime). OR, grab some sidewalk chalk and pick your own spot (your driveway, neighborhood or somewhere in town). To view and sign up for a specific spot, click HERE. WPL Kids’ Department will have chalk set out in front of the library. Use the chalk to leave kind messages for all to see.

Join the Westborough Chinese American Association for a drop-in event at the library. All ages are welcome to participate in Kindness Crafting and Calligraphy in Chinese from 3:15-4:15pm.
Come make an encouraging poster for those running or walking in the November 20th Turkey Trot. The Westborough Education Foundation will be at the BORO Sugar Shack from 3-4pm with all the supplies for a drop-in poster making party.
THURSDAY
Stop by Elsie Kaye Glassworks studio/gift shop (3 Union Street) to pick up a free set of glass friendship beads - one to keep and one to give to someone you are grateful for. They will help you turn one of the beads into a pendant or keychain. Stop in anytime between 10am and 5pm.
**Join Art Buddies on the front lawn of co-host Right at Home (8 Church Street) from 3-5pm to paint a Kindness Canvas. Canvases will be displayed at the Westborough Public Library before being returned to be given to someone you are grateful for. Due to the intricate nature of the painting, this event is for ages 10+. Register HERE.
The Westborough Historical Society is offering Be Grateful for Play starting at 3:30pm for elementary age children and their caregivers. This program, offered on Westborough’s birthday, will give participants a view into the lives of children in Westborough in the past.
FRIDAY
Mugford’s Flower Shoppe (8 Warburton Lane) is encouraging everyone to “pay it forward” by providing free bouquets at their shop to help you show someone some kindness (while supplies last).
Come pick up Kindness Bags in front of the Forbes Building, one for you to keep and one for you to give away. Westborough Youth & Family Services encourages you to “pay it forward” and keep the kindness going.
Everyone is welcome to join Congregation B’Nai Shalom (117 East Main Street) for a kindness themed Shabbat service at 6:45pm.

Nominate someone who has shown kindness through their actions for a chance to win one of two complimentary kindness themed @ Home Kits being offered by Board & Brush. Visit the Boro Sugar Shack to leave a message on their Wall of Sweet Sentiments. All participants will receive a coupon to use in the store.
Starting Monday, check out the Westborough Library Teen Zone to pick up a Kindness Kit or to do a craft or activity (while supplies last). Also learn about their Kindness Writing Contest and Kindness BINGO board.
Visit the Kids’ Department section of the Westborough Public Library’s (WPL) website HERE for great kindness book suggestions and caregiver resources put together by the children’s librarian. There will also be a kindness book display in the library.
First United Methodist Church is hosting a collection for the Westborough Food Pantry. They will be collecting baby diapers, baby wipes, and toiletries in their lobby (120 West Main Street).

Stop in to Learning Express where they will be holding a collection of cereal and snacks for Westborough’s Holiday Store (50 West Main Street).

Salmon Health and Retirement will donate a pie in your name to the Westborough Food Pantry if you take a tour of their facilities (5 Lyman Street).
Help Mill Pond School and the Veterans’ Advisory Board collect clothing and toiletries for homeless veterans. There will be several drop off locations around town. Click HERE for more information.
Look out for special surprise ways our partners from the Westborough Public Schools and Westborough Girl Scouts will be spreading kindness.
WeCARE is seeking donations of anti-racist books, including books that feature BIPOC authors, characters, and perspectives, to support the second Little Free Anti-Racist Library. Please drop off books in the bin marked “WeCARE” at 27 Olde Coach Rd.

Nominate someone you believe is a true champion of kindness.
